Vaddio, the global leader in robotic PTZ cameras and camera control systems, was awarded Best IP Enabling Device, Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera, New Telepresence Product and Most Innovative Mounting Solution by Commercial Integrator, AV Technology and Systems Contractor News publications at InfoComm 2012.

“We are honored that not only one, but three of the most prestigious AV magazines have recognized the impact Vaddio’s technology is having on our industry,” says Rob Sheeley, President of Vaddio. “Vaddio is a US-based manufacturer and it’s so satisfying to see US-based AV companies succeed in not only developing new technology, but manufacturing it here as well.”

Vaddio’s WEBBi Controller won BEST IP Enabling device and the ClearVIEW HD-USB PTZ Camera won BEST Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera from Commercial Integrator magazine. The BEST Awards program recognizes the most noteworthy new products and services that can impact commercial integrators’ businesses in 2012. A panel of experts, integrators and the editors of Commercial Integrator choose the winners of the BEST Awards.

Vaddio’s AV Bridge won Best Telepresence Product from AV Technology magazine. The second annual 2012 AV Technology end-user awards program recognizes innovations that benefit end-users, technology managers and facility directors. Judges evaluated submissions and selected winners based on the nominated companies’ ease-of-use, reliability, overall network impact and ROI. This year’s panel of judges included George Mason University’s Matthew Silverman, CTS-D, AV Help Desk’s Christopher Neto, CTS-D, University of California, Los Angeles’ Greg Brown, CTS-D, Project Green AV’s Gina Sansivero, and InfoComm Adjunct Instructor Christopher Maione, CTS-D.

The judges stated, “The Vaddio AV Bridge provides a long desired solution to provide pro-AV quality integration with computer-based conferencing solutions such as Skype and Lync. The ability to integrate software applications like Skype, Cisco Jabber, Microsoft Lync and others into existing AV systems makes it a BIG winner for the end-users.”
