Real time data driven graphics integrate with existing WEBUS® bulletin board service
February 19, 2009 (Mt. Laurel, NJ) – TelVue Corporation (OTC.BB: TEVE) announced today the general availability of TelVue VideoActives™, a new optional content offering for its WEBUS® Community Bulletin Board and Digital Signage system. According to TelVue, VideoActives™ are real-time, data-driven, on-air graphics such as local weather, local traffic, headline news, financial market indices, sports, quotes of the day and trivia questions. VideoActives™ are designed to enhance the presentation of a hyperlocal television channel or digital signage display with dynamic content driven by live data feeds.
Commenting on the VideoActives™ launch, Jesse Lerman, TelVue President and CEO said, “VideoActives™ will enable community broadcasters to provide relevant and targeted content to their local audience. For instance, the VideoActive™ for local traffic conditions uses live data embedded into a pre-designed, ready-to-air graphic template. Combined with the WEBUS® interval feature, local traffic can be automatically displayed on the 5s. VideoActives™ offer a visually appealing presentation that will add flavor and relevancy to any hyperlocal media channel. I encourage anyone interested in VideoActives™ to view samples online at http://videoactives.telvue.com.”
