The New Camera Control Panel Offers Automatic Shot Correction And Easy Access to a Variety of Menu Controls That Help Streamlines Production and Save Cost.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (September 15-19, 2017) — Following on the success of its Remote Camera Control Panel, the RCCP-1, Telemetrics, a leader in camera robotics and control systems, will demonstrate a new, more fully featured “Advanced” control panel – the RCCP-1A – at the 2017 IBC Show (Stand 12.F34). The software now includes the revolutionary reFrame™ Automatic Shot Correction technology that locks cameras onto the talent and automatically trims the shot… without the operator ever having to touch the controls.

“More powerful and flexible than its predecessor, the new RCCP-1A provides a single operator with more potent, yet natural control over complex camera moves than was possible before,” said Anthony Cuomo, President of Telemetrics. “The best part is that the RCCP-1A provides Automatic Shot Correction technology and a speed control that allows a user to dynamically match a keyframe based move to the action. We think this product will have a significant financial and practical impact of the way productions are done going forward.”

While the existing RCCP-1 control panel provides easy access to a variety of valuable menu controls of broadcast cameras without the need for dedicated camera control units or external paint boxes, the new Telemetrics RCCP-1A takes this a step further by adding speed, new hardware interfaces, and new operational LCD keys that facilitate more dynamic on-the-fly configuration changes as required.

Designed for larger Broadcast Studios and Legislative production centers, the new RCCP-1A leverages the reliability and accuracy of the RCCP-1, but includes a higher end processor that supports more complex keyframe based-motion paths. [DW1] This new control panel also includes a built-in HD SDI input that allows users to capture snapshot thumbnails for camera angles and live video preview.

As with the RCCP-1, the new model still features all of the camera shading tools that natively support broadcast cameras (including those from Grass Valley, Hitachi, Ikegami, JVC, Panasonic, Sony, and Telemetrics) without requiring a separate camera control unit (CCU).

[DW1]This is a repeat of what was said in the first paragraph. Ok to talk about reFrame, but need to say something different!
