Ottawa, November 26th 2021 – The Best Ottawa Business awards (BOBs) is an annual award ceremony that celebrates Ottawa's history of innovative, ethical, and profitable businesses, and recognizes its entrepreneurial spirit. The 2021 event, held virtually yesterday evening and organized by the Ottawa Board of Trade and Ottawa Business Journal, saw Ross honored with a remarkable two awards, one for 'Best Performance in Customer Experience' and the second for 'Kanata North – Company of the Year'.
"2021 has been another challenging year for everyone, and it's especially pleasing to receive the award for Customer Experience," notes Ross CEO David Ross, himself a former winner of the BOB for 'CEO of the Year'. "Our Code of Ethics places great importance of being a great company to work with and putting customer interests first. There are many examples of our employees going above and beyond to help our customers navigate their way through the challenges posed by the pandemic, and everyone at Ross should be very proud of their performance this year and this award. Our people make our business, and I'm lucky to work with the best!"
David also took a moment to thank Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa Business Journal for their support. "Our footprint continues to grow internationally, and we've broken through the 1000 employee threshold this year; that's very satisfying, of course, but we're not stopping there. We're continuing to recruit in Ontario and beyond, and we're committed to regional employment and keeping as much of our manufacturing in Canada as possible. I'm very grateful to Ottawa Board of Trade and the OBJ for all their support and thank them again for these two wonderful awards. I'd also like to thank the sponsors of the two awards (Janet LeBlanc + Associates – Customer Experience Management and Kanata North Business Association respectively) as well as congratulating the other 2021 winners – it's great to see so many talented individuals and innovative companies being recognized as we continue to build Ottawa's reputation as a global technology hub."
