Ottawa, Canada, December 4th 2020 – Ross is pleased to announce that Jeff Poapst has been promoted to the new role of Chief Manufacturing and Services Officer. In this position, Poapst will continue to lead Ross Video's global services organization and the company's dedicated Canadian manufacturing operations.
Mr. Poapst is a licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada, and holder of an Executive M.B.A. from Queen's University. He worked in a variety of senior manufacturing and quality roles in contract manufacturing, telecoms, and consumer electronics, before joining Ross in October 2006 as Director of Manufacturing. He has served as the company's Senior Vice-President of Manufacturing and Services since 2015 and has overseen important improvements in product quality, on-schedule delivery and customer satisfaction.
Commenting on his role change Mr. Poapst is quick to pay tribute to his colleagues and co-workers at Ross.
