The EH244-IP encoder is a platform for supporting modular MPEG2 and MPEG4 H.264 video encoders, including SDE24, HDE24 and SDI24A. The encoder host multiplexes encoder outputs into an IP-encapsulated multicast SPTS or MPTS, configurable via an Ethernet web server. The EH244-IP includes provisions for emergency alert services, using either video replacement or SCTE18 control messages and is fully compatible with Drake's Bandwidth Recovery Solution.
