LYNX Technik Revolutionizes the User Experience with flexGUI™ for APPolo Control
LYNX Technik AG is revolutionizing the user experience of its software control with the launch of flexGUI for APPolo Control Software. flexGUI will be demonstrated at the LYNX Technik IBC 2013, stand 8.C70.

The APPolo Control system offers real power behind the hardware and has moved far beyond the traditional functions of simple monitoring and changing settings. With the addition of flexGUI, APPolo is now the most feature-rich, intelligent control system for interface equipment available on the market today.

flexGUI is an entirely new patented concept for the Series 5000 modular equipment and represents a radical change in the way infrastructure equipment is controlled and monitored. Gone are the days of simple static control functions. flexGUI introduces a customized and highly interactive display for each module. It shows stunning detail of all of the module’s internal interconnections and I/O status in a functional block diagram. This greatly simplifies the understanding of a module’s functions, as well as simplifying any system configuration changes that need to be made.

The benefits and toolset of flexGUI are vast, highly intuitive and include:
Interactive zoom control - This feature allows the user to zoom in and pan around the diagram revealing more detailed information about the module. As the zoom increases so does the detail displayed, providing users with a fully immersive and interactive experience.
Path highlighting – Users can simply move their cursor over the module’s connections to clearly display all input and output paths.
Signal Routing – With this feature, users can quickly make changes to a module’s internal signal routing - simply click on the graphical connection and drag it to a new location.
