AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS, Feb. 1-3, 2011 – Jupiter Systems, the industry leader in display wall technology, today announced moves that expand the support provided by its field systems engineering team to markets around the world. The moves include the promotion of Pascal Berthe to senior field system engineer for European, Indian, and Middle Eastern operations, and the hiring of industry veteran Erwin Daley as a field system engineer for U.S. operations.

“Pascal and Erwin are both seasoned technical systems engineers with strong backgrounds in the analysis, installation and configuration of large-scale, high-performance systems. These two exceptional industry veterans can provide our customers with a winning combination of in-depth technical skills and strong business knowledge,” said Dorothy Farris, vice president of Worldwide Sales for Jupiter Systems.

Pascal Berthe, Senior Field Systems Engineer for Europe, India and the Middle East
Pascal Berthe is a talented audiovisual professional with 16 years of experience in the design, test, installation and maintenance of display wall controllers and more than 15 years in the command and control market. He has 25 years of industry experience with high-tech engineering firms in Europe.

Berthe served as a platform integration engineer with Synelec Telecom Multimedia where he had responsibility for conception, testing, quality control and maintenance of systems and subsystems used to build display wall controllers. Berthe was instrumental in building the company prior to its purchase by Clarity Visual Systems and Planar. At Synelec, Berthe was also an electronic engineer on imaging systems using VMEbus and Compact PCI architectures used to build splitters for video walls.

Berthe has an engineering diploma from the Conservatorie des Arts & Métiers with a specialization in electronics.

Erwin Daley, U.S. Field System Engineer
Erwin Daley has more than 15 years of experience in technical support and sales of digital video solutions. He worked for Matrox Video Products Group in Quebec, Canada for 15 years, beginning in technical support, quality assurance and user experience. Matrox Video Products Group provides HD and SD digital video hardware and software that powers content creation and delivery platforms used by broadcasters, post-production facilities, project studios, corporate communicators and videographers worldwide. His responsibilities included the oversight of 24 technical staff in ensuring the satisfaction of approximately 30,000 Matrox end-users.

Daley then advanced to regional account manager, serving first the Asia-Pacific region and then the U.S. East Coast, Canada and Latin America. In his sales role, Daley leveraged his technical support knowledge to gain buy-in from client technical teams and senior executives. Daley also worked as regional sales manager for Echolab Inc. in Billerica, Mass. in 2010, improving the sales-cycle efficiency and rebuilding the dealer channel for that organization.

Daley has attended McGill International Executive Institute training in Essential Management Skills and has a certificate in Micro Computers and Networking Systems from Herzing College in Montreal.
