Ensemble Designs New High-Resolution Support for Scan Converters at ISE
Posted on Monday, January 28, 2013
28 January 2013 Grass Valley, California, – Ensemble Designs is announcing new high-resolution support for it’s line of BrightEye Mitto high-performance scan converters at the ISE Convention, in Amsterdam, 29-31 January, 2013 on stand 8.R240. The new software supports 1920×1200 pixel images which is critical for the presentation market.

BrightEye Mitto™ Scan converters provide ultra high-quality conversion from computer video, such as YouTube™ and Skype™ video content, to SDI video. Computer video is convertered to serial digital SD, HD and 3 Gb/s on BNC electrical or fiber optic outputs.

“Events, presentation and military customers have been asking us to support 1920×1200 because they need to scan convert a variety of images at the best resolution possible,” said Mondae Hott, Director of Sales at Ensemble Designs. “The BrightEye Mitto’s 3 Gb/s output has been extremely popular in military installations.”

BrightEye Mitto scan converters auto-sense between DVI and VGA making integration with any computer nearly plug and play. Adjustable audio delay, allows for correcting lip sync on Skype and YouTube video used in live shows. Just a small part of the computer’s screen can be selected with a mouse and instantly converted to full screen HD. Fiber optic outputs simplify integration into large systems. With Ensemble’s latest technology and its proprietary upconversion and filtering algorithms, it is possible to have consistent, high quality, over long distance cable runs.

“When people compare the Mitto to all the other units out there, Mitto always wins on quality,” said Mondae Hott, Ensemble Designs Director of Sales. “With six different BrightEye Mitto units to choose from, customers can get just what they need for outputs and capabilities.”
