Posted on Tuesday, July 9, 2013
Digital Projection International (DPI)is honored to announce their newly-introduced, high-brightness Mercury 930 3D projector recently received ‘Top Five Products for Churches’ recognition at InfoComm 2013. Awarded by Church Production magazine, the ‘Top Five Products’ represent, per Church Production, “…the five new products introduced at InfoComm 2013 selected by our team as having the best fit in the church market.”

The yearly InfoComm expo showcases the latest technologies for audio, video, display, projection, lighting and staging, digital signage, conferencing, digital content creation, networking and signal distribution. Manufacturers of this year’s Church Production ‘Top Five Products for Churches’ were recognized on the Church Production web site, and will be featured in an upcoming series of interviews focusing on the winning products. “It was very invigorating and encouraging to see so many companies with products designed specifically with the church market in mind,” commented Brian Blackmore, editor of Church Production magazine. “Fifteen years ago, when this editor attended his first InfoComm, that was definitely not the case.”

Mike Levi, president of Digital Projection Inc., noted that, “DPI has seen strong success in serving the worship community’s imaging needs, and we actively strive to develop products that help worship venues communicate with their congregations. This recognition is a huge honor, and it reminds us to keep our customers first with everything we develop.”

DPI proudly announces the Mercury display series, a brand-new, conservatively priced yet remarkably capable 3-chip product line. Available in both 1920 x 1080 (HD) and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolutions, the Mercury platform incorporates DPI’s advanced image Warp and Blend capabilities, 3D Dual Flash Processing™ connectivity, and a host of professional features to suit medium to large-screen professional venues. Additionally, Mercury projectors produce up to 14,500 lumens of application-enabling brightness while retaining a compact and efficient design akin to DPI’s TITAN displays. For unconventional imaging needs, the Mercury’s advanced image Warp and Blend allows for extensive geometric warp correction for screens with complex geometry, including immersive environments and architectural mapping applications.
