The Cresnet® bus is the communications backbone for many Crestron® keypads, lighting controllers, shade motors, sensors, and other devices. Cresnet is a simple, yet flexible 4-wire network that provides bidirectional communication and 24VDC power for Cresnet devices. Cresnet allows for both homerun and daisy-chain wiring topologies, with cable lengths up to approximately 3000 feet (915 meters) per run.

Within a single jacket, CRESNET-NP furnishes (1) pair 18AWG for 24VDC and Ground, and (1) twisted pair 22AWG with shield for control data.
