Since the beginning of this month, students at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (UAS) are collaborating more closely than ever, thanks to weConnect – our collaborative learning solution for higher education. “We’ve seen solutions similar to the Barco platform before, but Barco’s offering is really dedicated to education,” says Herdey Ronowidjojo from Rotterdam University. “It’ll surely help us enrich the learning experience.”
The future of education Dutch AV expert Fidato introduced Rotterdam University to our education solutions: “We discovered Barco’s dedicated offering for education at ISE2016. Impressed as we were, we immediately invited several of our customers to learn more about the solution. Everyone agreed that it’s really easy to use. Intensive in-house testing also convinced us of its ability to be smoothly integrated into any network environment. This really is the future of education.”

Confident that educational facilities need to change their teaching methods to meet the needs of today’s tech-savvy students, Rotterdam University was happy to embrace weConnect. “We believe that participation and interactivity help enrich the learning experience — hence our European tender for interactive classroom technology. The Barco solution was a perfect fit,” says Herdey Ronowidjojo from Rotterdam University.
Fidato also installed a trial set-up of weConnect at the Dutch HAN Universities of Applied Sciences in Arnhem and Nijmegen and the University of Twente. Moreover, there’s some more exciting education project in the pipe, around Europe!
