AMSTERDAM, 12-16 September, IBC 2008 – Autoscript, the world’s leading teleprompting company and a Vitec Group brand, has furnished the Government of Singapore with a range of equipment to serve its conferencing needs.
Representatives of the Singapore Government attended NAB earlier this year scouting for teleprompting solutions. Following a demonstration on the Autoscript stand they requested a month long loan of equipment.
Fully satisfied that the solution met their requirements the team placed an order for two 20-inch TFT monitors, two Executive ‘Rise & Fall’ stands and +WinPlusConference+ software.
The equipment, supplied by PTL Communications, will be used to facilitate the Singapore Government’s conferencing activities and in particular any speeches in which Government members wish to address an audience directly.
The Rise & Fall Motorised Robotic stands offer the ability to adjust the height of the stands automatically and can be performed by either programming the stands or using the +WinPlusConference+ application. The glass holder is a geared bracket that adjusts the angle of the glass. This combination offers the flexibility for all variations and scenarios when used at awards ceremonies, conferences and presentations.
Brian Larter, Autoscript Worldwide Managing Director says “This is an important sale for us, not only in terms of the Asia Pacific region, but also since it is to another national government. It underscores the ultra-reliability of our equipment.”
