Australia's Special Broadcasting Service Selects Autocue LONDON, 14 July 2011 - Autocue has announced Australia's Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) has chosen Quinto Communications and Autocue for their studio prompting requirements. SBS is Australia's multicultural and multilingual public broadcaster. Quinto will supply four of Autocue's new 17" "Master Series" prompting systems, similar to those that will be featured at IBC 2011 in September. These ultra-thin high-brightness LED prompting monitors include several unique features such as in-board cable management and a dimmable tally light. Their camera hoods have a hinged glass frame for easy glass replacement or cleaning, as well as a tally light platform. Included in the system package are four slim, lightweight 17" widescreen Talent Feedback Monitors that mount under cameras using Autocue's propriety "Magic Arm" technology where they provide on-camera talent with precise, live broadcast picture feedback. Autocue CEO Frank Hyman said, "We continue to lead the way with prompter technology, including slimmer, lightweight LED backlit screens, with better contrast ratios and lower power consumption. All of these innovations deliver substantial benefits to our customers through partners like Quinto." Quinto sells the complete Autocue product range and is the exclusive distributor in the region for Autocue's Newsoom and Scripting solutions, as well as the "Master" and "Professional" ranges of teleprompters. ### About Autocue Autocue and QTV (in the Americas) have been serving the broadcast industry since the 1950s.
