QTV REVAMP TOP-END BROADCAST TELEPROMPTER RANGE AT IBC 2010
Posted on Wednesday, July 21, 2010

NEW YORK, IBC Stand 11.F50 – QTV has redesigned its top-end broadcast teleprompter range (the Master Series), drawing on extensive customer feedback and the latest panel technology. The new range will be unveiled at IBC 2010.

The new range represents the latest and greatest in teleprompter hardware: using LED backlit technology, QTV’s design team has created the first ever slimline, high-bright teleprompter monitors.

The monitors are significantly lighter, and together with more substantial bracketry, deliver a sturdy and balanced prompter system, especially useful for pan and tilt camerawork and robotic pedestals.

Responding to broadcasters’ wish lists, the new Master Series delivers a host of further benefits, including:
·        instant access to the glass and a hidden compartment for a cloth and solution, making cleaning the glass much more convenient;
·        flat pack and tool-less assembly hoods, for easy set up and portability;
·        inboard cable management, removing the risk of cable damage;
·        a cue light on the monitor itself (with the ability to use a more traditional on top of hood solution if preferred).

In combination with QTV’s IP-based prompting software (QMaster), the new Master Series hardware further demonstrates QTV’s unrivalled, in-house design capability. CEO Frank Hyman said, “QTV has led every major teleprompting innovation since 1955. If you want to be at the leading edge of broadcast teleprompting technology, QTV is the brand to trust.”

QTV’s new Master Series will debut on IBC stand 11.F50, together with a range of new broadcast products including video servers, broadcast monitors, and a revamped newsroom and automation system.
