The Stirling X32 is a 3U storage server that features 16 hot-swap hard drive bays for data storage and 2 additional rear bays for the OS drives. The X32 is part of the first generation of Aberdeen Stirling X Storage servers to feature SAS 12G and Intel E5 2600 v4 Series Xeon processors based on exciting new Broadwell architecture. With support for up to 1TB of DDR4 memory, dual 10GbE LAN ports, six free PCI Express 3.0 expansion slots, and 16 HDD in only 3U of space, the X32 is the very definition of a mainstream storage server. More execution resources for higher overall performance with up to 22 cores per socket, up to 55 MB of last-level cache (LLC), and support for up to 12 percent faster DDR4 memory versus previous-generation memory, the Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v4 product family increases performance across a broad range of workloads, from business and technical computing applications to communications and storage solutions.
