The Finance Systems Administrator is responsible for Finance and other systems administration, purchasing & T&E support and processing.

This position will be based out of Epson America’s headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with a hybrid schedule.  At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
 

System Administration

  • Develops, maintains, and operates Epson’s Travel and Expense (T&E) reporting system
  • Monitors, facilitates, controls and synchronizes master data between systems 
  • Maintains the system approval hierarchies to align with Authorization Matrix
  • Interfaces with the IT team to communicate functional user requirements, system design, build out and testing. 
  • Develops expertise with systems and Excel to assist with Finance team needs.
  • Supports other finance systems (SAP, BPC, BI, ECAS, and EGMAS), as needed.
  • Prepares ad-hoc reporting to meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Ad-hoc projects, as needed

EAI Purchasing

  • Assists EProcurement users and Cost Center Managers in purchase order processing in accordance with established corporate guidelines.
  • Assists in expediting orders using the Corporate Credit Card (Pcard), and conducts related expense processing through T&E reporting system.  
  • Processes PO pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions, and invoice discrepancies, in accordance with established corporate guidelines.
  • Supports SEC in purchasing third party products and media for research and testing purposes and contacts vendors to obtain process and schedule delivery dates
  • Engages in limited negotiations with vendors. 
  • American Expense Credit Card Administration and processing
Vendor Master Maintenance
  • Creates and updates vendor master records in purchasing/accounts payable database, in accordance with Vendor Validation/Setup Guidelines.
  • Maintains files, logs, purchase orders and other related documentation.
  • Distributes confirming documentation to employees.

Travel and Expense System Administration and Maintenance 

  • Supports the administration of the employee expense reimbursement process 
  • Development and distribution of custom user reports, as needed
  • Add and update users in travel and expense reporting system
  • Add and update cost centers, GL accounts, approval workflows
  • Process final expenses for terminations, as needed
     

Special Projects

  • Assists with special projects, as assigned
  • Relationship Management 
  • Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.  Troubleshoot issues between user and Amex, as needed


Skills & Experience:

  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A, or B.S.)
  • Finance System Administration Expertise: 2-5 years of specialist or administrative experience 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on automation-focused special projects.
  • Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with systems like SAP, BPC, and BI.
  • Business Intelligence Skills: Experience using Power BI Dashboard or similar visualization platforms. 
  • Concur Administration: Competence in Concur administration, including Intelligence Reporting and Cognos.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $80,420 and $105,556. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
