The CIB9 is equipped with a pair of momentary action, push-to-call button switches. The first one is for initiating normal calls to an administrative console. The second one is for initiating emergency calls. The button cap colour of the Normal call switch is white and the Emergency call switch is red. The unit is printed with the words “Push to Call” on the stainless steel face plate and each of the push-button switches are identified with the inscription “Normal” and ”Emergency.”
