Joe Wilkins, the new Managing Director of Optoma’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) operations

EMEA, January 3rd, 2024 -- Optoma, the No. 1 4K UHD and DLP® brand worldwide and in EMEA in projection technology, and a leading visual solutions provider, today announces the appointment of Joe Wilkins as the new Managing Director of Optoma’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) operations, effective immediately.

Wilkins will continue to build and lead Optoma as the company expands its visual solutions to offer exceptional value and service to meet the evolving needs of its customers. He is responsible for the strategic development and sales growth across both B2B and B2C sectors, as well as, spearheading multiple transformative initiatives to accelerate Optoma’s growth, product innovation and operational efficiencies. Under his dynamic leadership, Optoma will showcase its full breadth of education and corporate solutions from interactive, professional and LED displays to award-winning projectors and sustainability platform at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) trade show from Jan. 30-Feb. 2nd 2024 in Barcelona.

Since joining the company in 2006, Wilkins has held numerous strategic positions leading teams spanning business functions including product management, business planning, marketing and service. Wilkins is passionate about mentoring teams and helps foster a culture of collaboration and enhanced communication within Optoma. With vast experience across the EMEA and Americas regions, Wilkins has successfully led initiatives resulting in a positive impact on the company’s profitability and streamlined efficiencies. Wilkins succeeds former Managing Director, Thierry Millet, who retired after an illustrious 21-year career at Optoma.
