The SQ-DVS-5104 is a SDI auto sync 2×1 protection changeover. It is designed for Sequoia Signal Processing Platform. It performs synchronization for two SDI inputs according to the reference signal and selects one for output with no jitter or noise. It detects status of SDI signal and its embedded audio in real time and identifies the signal according to the predetermined conditions in case of loss. The SQ-DVS-5104 routes the corresponding valid input for output under automation; while sending an alarm to the control panel to alert the operator for switching in manual mode. The SQ-DVS-5104 provides one CVBS monitoring output with optional overlaid audio meter. LED indicator on module edge shows the status information of signals, and the ADJ switch can adjust the parameters manually. Module with independent rear panel can be used in Sequoia 1RU or 2RU frame. The SQ-DVS-5104 supports the function of network monitoring of Sequoia series platform. The module can be controlled and monitored via Sequoia network control module and SQ-MASTER platform control software.
