SYN-A 3G is a video frame synchroniser designed for synchronising 3Gb/s, HD or SD sources containing up to four groups of embedded audio. Special features include ability to synchronise mixture of Dolby E and linear AES in same audio group, while it also includes automatic Dolby E alignment, audio routing and resampling, and tracking audio delay, as well as AFD insertion.

Use the RM41 or RM57 frame rear modules to access the inputs and outputs
Control also available from board edge, front and remote panels, SNMP, GPIs and Statesman PC software
Use it as synchronizer or fixed delay line, synchronize incoming video signals not locked to local reference or compensate for timing delays within video system
Features cross-locking, conveniently use any existing timing signals, with any source referenced to either HD tri-level syncs or SD Black and Burst
Compensate for mistimed sources elsewhere in the system or match large system delays, full vertical and horizontal timing adjustments from 0-1 frame, plus up to three frames of additional user video delay
Helps downstream equipment to automatically select the correct aspect ratio: can insert SMPTE 2016 data into the output video
Optimize the video: with video proc-amp allowing adjustment of the video gain, black level and independent YUV gains by up to 200%
Includes internal tracking audio delay, plus 120ms of audio delay on top of the tracking and additional three frames of Dolby E delay
Ideal for those working in mixed Dolby E and AES environments: can synchronize video containing Dolby E, standard audio or a mixture of the two in the same audio group
